Please read the following policies carefully before booking any service with K905 Dog Training. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at info@k905.ca or call 905-226-4637 before your service begins.
All private lesson packages and single lessons must be paid in full before scheduling.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve all Board & Train programs. The remaining balance is due before your dog’s stay begins.
We accept Interac e-Transfer with no additional fees.
We also accept credit and debit card payments. Card payments are subject to a processing fee of approximately 3.5%, which reflects the payment processing fees charged to K905 Dog Training by our payment provider. The exact fee will be disclosed at the time of payment.
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all fees must be paid prior to the commencement of services.
Each private lesson is approximately 50 minutes. To ensure your full lesson can be completed, please keep 30 minutes available before and after your scheduled appointment time, as travel and previous appointments may occasionally affect arrival times.
Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be forfeited.
To maintain training progress, no more than 4 weeks may pass between lessons unless approved in writing by K905 Dog Training. Remaining lessons may otherwise be forfeited.
Every dog learns at a different pace. While we provide the guidance and training needed for success, private lessons do not include a results guarantee. Success depends heavily on owner consistency and continued practice between lessons, and additional sessions may be recommended where necessary.

Unlike private lessons, our Board & Train programs include a training guarantee while your dog is in our care.
If your dog simply requires additional time to achieve the goals of the program due to their individual learning pace, we will extend their stay at no additional cost until those training objectives are met.
This guarantee applies only while your dog is enrolled in the Board & Train program and assumes all behavioural concerns have been accurately disclosed before training begins.
The guarantee does not cover behavioural regression after your dog returns home due to inconsistent owner follow-through or failure to maintain the training methods and guidance provided during your go-home session and follow-up lessons.
Board & Train services are non-refundable once booked, including cancellations, early pick-ups, or schedule changes.
Please provide food pre-portioned into daily bags and clearly labelled medications organized in a daily pill container with complete administration instructions.

Owners must disclose all medical conditions, medications, aggression, bite history, anxiety, reactivity, and any other behavioural concerns before services begin.
K905 Dog Training uses balanced, humane training methods tailored to each individual dog. Depending on your dog’s needs, professional training equipment may include slip leads, prong collars, remote training collars (e-collars), bark collars, and other appropriate tools. All equipment is introduced responsibly and used with your dog’s welfare, safety, and long-term success as the priority.
Owners are provided with instruction on the proper use of any recommended training equipment. Once training has concluded, the safe and appropriate use of these tools becomes the responsibility of the owner. K905 Dog Training is not responsible for any injury, behavioural issues, property damage, or other consequences resulting from the misuse, improper fitting, inconsistent application, or unauthorized use of any training equipment by the owner or any third party.
Clients may opt out of receiving marketing communications from K905 Dog Training at any time by requesting removal from our marketing list.
When a client submits an inquiry regarding training services, K905 Dog Training will attempt to contact the client up to three (3) times using the contact information provided. If there is no response after three attempts, the inquiry may be considered inactive and no further contact will be made unless the client re-engages.
If your dog requires emergency veterinary treatment while in our care, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you first. If you cannot be reached, you authorize K905 Dog Training to obtain veterinary treatment on your behalf. All veterinary and related transportation costs remain the responsibility of the owner.
Photos and videos taken during training or boarding may be used by K905 Dog Training for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
If you have any questions about our services or these policies, we encourage you to contact us before booking. A comprehensive Client Service Agreement outlining the full terms and conditions of our services will be provided prior to the commencement of any training or boarding program.
