Unlike facility-based programs, K905 Board & Train happens in a real home environment across Halton Region , the same kind of environment where your dog needs to perform every day. Your dog works one-on-one with the same trainer from day one to graduation, building consistency that group programs and rotating staff can never deliver.
Every K905 Board & Train program carries a written results guarantee. If the agreed goals are not met within the program timeframe, we extend the stay at no extra cost. No fine print. We do not turn cases away based on breed, history, or severity, every dog is evaluated individually before a program is recommended.
This 2 week program builds a complete focus on everyday obedience and calm behaviour at home. We teach your dog to walk politely on leash, respond to basic commands, politely greet guests, and relax in everyday environments. Over 3 weeks, we focus on helping your dog stay calm, build confidence, and make better choices in challenging situations.

We train your dog to respond reliably without a leash, be focused in any environment, and be able to go everywhere with you. Whether it’s city sidewalks, parks, or hiking trails, or your local coffee shop your dog will learn to stay focused and responsive anywhere you go.
The Puppy to Perfect Pet Program is our most complete training experience, combining 5 private lessons with 6 weeks of board & train split into three 2 week phases. This structure allows your puppy to learn, mature, and advance at the right pace while keeping you involved through each stage. We focus on building strong obedience, confidence, and calm behaviour in real-world settings to create a well mannered, reliable, and happy companion you can enjoy anywhere.
Designed for Aggressive Dogs who show intent to harm other dogs, people, or other animals helping create critical thinking skills in high stress situations. Over minimum 6 weeks, we create a structured day to day routine and clear communication to give your dog the tools to have effective emotional regulation around triggers with a high level of controlled obedience.

Our structured boarding is designed specifically for dogs who have already completed training, either with K905 or an approved training company. This is not about teaching new skills, instead maintaining your dog’s training focusing on preserving your dog’s obedience, routine, and structure while you’re away.
Dogs stay in a calm, controlled environment where expectations are clear, boundaries are reinforced, and training doesn’t slip. It’s ideal for active clients or those who want peace of mind knowing their dog’s progress stays intact.

My Dog Hezzi is an overexcited, high energy American Bully. We had Michael come over for one private lesson and he explained our dog’s behaviour to us and how to help manage it. After that we saw so much improvement from just one lesson, we decided to sign our dog up for board and train and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Yes, we specialize in reactive and aggressive dogs. The outcomes
for each look different since we are dealing with two different
emotions/desires in the dog. The end goal for both is the create
neutrality to their triggers and better management skills.
Board & Train give the ‘professional touch’ fast tracking your dogs
training, we also include lessons before and after the stay to
ensure a smooth transition back home. Private Lessons put the
work on you, we will come to your house weekly and coach you on
how to train your dog providing homework after each session
which you must practice in order to reach your goals!

Every trainer at K905 Dog Training has a minimum of five years of hands-on
experience working with dogs ranging from young puppies to extreme
behavioural cases. Our team has experience developing companion dogs,
working dogs, and dogs used in police and military environments.
We currently service the entire Halton Region (Milton, Oakville,
Burlington, Georgetown, Halton Hills, Acton), Waterloo Region
(Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph), and parts of Peel
