Private lessons at K905 are exactly that, private. One trainer, one dog, one owner, in the environment where the behaviour is actually happening. Not a group class. Not a facility. Your home, your street, your local park, wherever your dog needs to perform, that is where we train.
Every session is 50 minutes of focused, structured work. You train alongside your dog with step-by-step guidance from an experienced trainer, and leave every session with detailed homework so the work continues between appointments. Your trainer is consistent across every lesson, the same person, the same expectations, the same results-driven approach.
Private lessons are available across Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills, Georgetown, Acton, and Mississauga. There are no travel fees within our service area. Private lessons do not include a results guarantee, success depends on owner consistency and practice between sessions.

The Puppy Blueprint is built around your puppy’s natural developmental stages.
Rather than delivering all lessons at once, training is divided into three sets
of 8 lessons timed to align with the critical windows when your puppy is most
receptive to learning. This approach produces more reliable, lasting results
than a single intensive program.
Age Range: 2 to 4 months
Foundation skills, bite inhibition, socialization, crate conditioning, basic obedience
Age Range: 6 to 8 months
Adolescent behaviour management, advancing obedience, reinforcing foundation
Age Range: 10 months to 1 year
Advanced obedience, real-world reliability, finalizing behavioural goals
Does your dog struggle at the vet or with grooming needs? This program focuses on changing your dogs response to tactile sensitivities. We start at your home to build communication skills and desensitization to touch, we then go to the vet or groomer with you to help work your dog through vaccines, physical checks, nail trims, or any other tactile issues.

Designed for Reactive dogs who it’s bark, lung, or overreact to dogs, people, or other triggers. Over 8 In Home Lessons you will learn how to manage your dog safely while working to change their response to distractions by sharpening their engagement and control. Rather than avoiding triggers on your walks you’ll be walking by with confidence knowing your dog can handle it.

This program focuses on the must-have skills every dog needs for day to day life. You’ll learn how to create structure, improve leash walking, build impulse control, and teach your dog how to greet guests calmly. Interested in taking our training for a test drive before committing to a full program? After testing our training we will deduct the cost of your lesson out of any program you decide to go forward with. Our single private lesson option allows you to train at your own pace with a completely customized session tailored to your specific goals and challenges.
Any dog owner who wants to try one session before committing to a full program. The cost of the lesson is deducted from any program booked afterward.

I truly don’t think we would have been able to keep her without his help. He’s been a lifesaver for our family, and I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with their dog. My Dog Hezzi is an overexcited, high energy American Bully. We had Michael come over for one private lesson and he explained our dog’s behaviour to us and how to help manage it. After that we saw so much improvement from just one lesson, we decided to sign our dog up for board and train and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Michael trains the dog at his home, so we were never worried about whether our dog was alone in a kennel for hours on end. Best decision we made.

more structure and ensures training happens where it is going to

When your dog comes home we will provide you with clear training
maintenance that fits into your day to day life. As long as this is
being followed and you are staying consistent at home, the training
will transition smoothly and will stick!
Yes, we specialize in reactive and aggressive dogs. The outcomes
for each look different since we are dealing with two different
emotions/desires in the dog. The end goal for both is the create
neutrality to their triggers and better management skills.
Board & Train give the ‘professional touch’ fast tracking your dogs
training, we also include lessons before and after the stay to
ensure a smooth transition back home. Private Lessons put the
work on you, we will come to your house weekly and coach you on
how to train your dog providing homework after each session
which you must practice in order to reach your goals!
As early as 8 weeks old! The sooner we can start the sooner we
can help you build a good relationship with your dog and create
productive habits to help them become the Perfect Pet!
We are big believers on creating a clear foundational
understanding of the behaviours we want the dogs to be doing as
well as ensuring you and your dog have a conflict free relationship.
Once that is all established we focus on obligation which helps
create a reliable response to commands and clarity in our
expectations for them!
Every trainer at K905 Dog Training has a minimum of five years of hands-on
experience working with dogs ranging from young puppies to extreme
behavioural cases. Our team has experience developing companion dogs,
working dogs, and dogs used in police and military environments.
We currently service the entire Halton Region (Milton, Oakville,
Burlington, Georgetown, Halton Hills, Acton), Waterloo Region
(Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph), and parts of Peel
